Abstract
Performing: Magnificat by Ignacio Jerusalem
Javier José Mendoza is the Music Director and Conductor of Chicago Arts Orchestra. Under Mendoza’s direction the CAO has actively been unearthing and re-debuting forgotten works from 18th-century New Spain and re-premiering pieces from archives in México, Guatemala, and Spain. CAO has consistently been named a “Critics Pick “by Time Out Chicago and a “Recommend” by the Chicago Tribune.
