Abstract
This dissertation study explored how ten Asian Americans' racial identity and critical consciousness were connected to their engagement in racial justice work. Guided by Critical Race Theory, the researcher conducted semi-structured qualitative interviews to understand how and why Asian Americans developed a commitment to racial justice work, not only for Asian Americans, but for other communities of color.
