Abstract

Through Loyola's Social Justice Internship program, I was able to intern at GirlForward, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and enhancing opportunities for girls who have been displaced by conflict and persecution. My goal as an intern was to learn about the various ways in which GirlForward helps support girls through their programs, and how the staff at GirlForward manage and operate the nonprofit.
