FAQ's

Below is a list of frequently asked questions about the annual Undergraduate Research & Engagement Symposium.

How is the virtual Symposium different from the traditional one?

Who can participate?

All Loyola undergraduate students who have conducted a research or community engagement project (through a course, independent study, fellowship, service-learning experience, academic internship, or student organization) are welcome to present their project in either an oral or poster presentation.

Can a group present?

Yes! We encourage both individual and collaborative presentations. If you are presenting as a group, please select one group member to complete the registration form for the whole group. There will be space available to list all co-presenters in the registration form. It is the responsibility of the group member registering for the symposium to share all conference communications with their co-presenters.

Can I present if my research or project has not been completed?

Yes! You do not need to have completed your project or collected final results in order to present. Students are welcome to present projects or research that are still in progress.

How do I create or submit my presentation?
