Call for Abstracts

We are now accepting poster abstracts for the 2025 Ruth K. Palmer Research Symposium.

Please review the abstracts submission guidelines. Abstracts that do not adhere to the guidelines will not be reviewed. If you have any questions, please email us at Palmer_Symposium@luc.edu.

• Abstracts should reflect one of three categories:
  • Research
  • Evidence-based practice
  • Literature Review
• More than one abstract may be submitted.
• Abstracts are not required to fit the theme of the symposium.
• Word limit: 250 words (exclude the title and headings)
• Required headings for each abstract category:
  • Research: Purpose, Background and significance, Theoretical/Conceptual framework, Method, Results, Conclusions
  • Evidence-based Practice: Nature and scope of project, Synthesis and analysis of supporting literature, Project implementation, Evaluation criteria, Outcomes, Recommendations
  • Literature Review: Problem, Purpose, Search strategy, Results of literature search, Synthesis of evidence, Implications for practice

Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance by early February.
