Abstract
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, masks have become part of everyone's daily lives. The purpose of masks is to protect the wearer from airborne infectious particles that could lead to illness. There are laws mandating masks to be worn indoors and outdoors to protect oneself and everyone to prevent the spread of COVID-19. For college students, masks are required to be worn for approximately 8 hours a day, so our main concern for this design project was to find a mask that is effective and affordable, while also providing comfort and breathability.
