Abstract
The aim of the BaxHUD system is to aid pharmacy technicians reduce the need to leave the fume hood, optimize the workflow, save time, and increase compliance to sterility. This shall be done through the implementation of a projected workflow manager alongside the back wall of the fume hood that will be controlled via hand gesture commands as opposed to the traditional mouse and keyboard. This touch-free system has been created using MATLAB and it’s various tool boxes including the App Designer, Simulink, and Computer Vision.
