Abstract

Foster youth continue to be the most vulnerable populations in the U.S. The systematic challenges experienced by foster youth in the U.S have demonstrated a direct impact on their academic progress, achievement, and access to post-secondary education. This presentation is meant to be a resource tool for upcoming First Star Academy mentors or individuals who wish to know more about the system and the ways we can help.
