Abstract
American toads are often victims of human advancement due to the chemicals within water runoff. This research further examined the effects of glyphosate, typically found in Roundup®, on amphibians. This study hypothesized that 1) inoculation of glyphosate will lead to stronger direct impacts on development 2) additions of compounds used to inoculate vegetation alone will not have measurable impacts and 3) the combination of glyphosate and additional compounds will not further impact the development compared to glyphosate alone. Our data contributes to the identification of a growing problem and assists in quantifying the extent of harm being infringed on amphibians.
