Abstract
This project, completed as part of the Ricci Scholars Program 2019-2020, looks to compare the culture and environment of female entrepreneurship in the countries of Italy and Vietnam. Interviews with women entrepreneurs were completed in each country to better understand different experiences they have faced in starting and running their businesses. These experiences, in combination with existing global data and research, are used to evaluate the successes and challenges women entrepreneurs can face around the world, as well as compare and contrast across cultures.
