Abstract
One important topic in environmental health is drinking water. Knowing that our water can be contaminated with a toxic substance such as lead is important. Drinking water that is contaminated with lead causes health problems for individuals. It is important to note that individuals that are most at risk are young children and infants. Knowing ways to decrease the amount of lead in our drinking water is also important. High levels of lead are not safe for anybody. Knowing that this problem exists is important for everyone to know.
