Abstract
My piece entitled "glossolalia" utilizes the mode of practice led research. Based on research I did this past summer with Dr. Liz Chiarello from Saint Louis University regarding the Opioid Crisis, I came across the topic of chronic pain. Often individuals with chronic pain need opioids in order to manage their pain but due to the epidemic are struggling to access them. Focusing on the aspects of chronic pain often not discussed such as misunderstanding, failing support systems, isolation, and mistreatment, I created my piece.
