Abstract

This research seeks to interpret how Generation Z promotes well-being through a meat replacement diet. This is very important because by engaging in this research, we can observe a better understanding of the impact meat substitutes is having on Generation Z’s diet. Meat substitutes consumption has increased over the past few years and has become a priority in the diets of younger generations. In addition, since we are Generation Z members, we have been able to expand the reach of our data-collecting along with interview and observation surveys as well, which were developed during this engaged learning. We have increasingly seen many meat substitutes and plant-based products in supermarkets and restaurants due to the impact that social media plays in the development of this trend. As a squad, we believe our work is research ready because we are making insights out of our collected data.
