Abstract

In an expanding industry like travel, consumer trends and preferences shift over time. In this study, we plan to identify what consumers value the most in a travel experience and what has changed. The significance of our research is the fact that consumers have wants and needs at an ever-changing market for travel and hospitality, especially because of the global pandemic. COVID-19 has impacted travel drastically, and it is important for us to analyze the behavior of what these consumers look for in their travel experience. The problem we are trying to solve is, “What do consumers look for in a travel experience?”. The scope of our work is a generalized approach to travel as a whole while also being aware of the ongoing pandemic. We will be conducting multiple surveys via Qualtrics to identify and determine the ideal travel experience. Our results are currently in progress and these will help us answer our business question once completed!
