Abstract

Fast fashion is the term to describe the rapid production of cheap, trendy clothes. In today’s world, fast fashion is a booming industry with brands such as Shein advertising 40 to 50 thousand products under just the “Daily New” tab. As a result of fast fashion’s production style, the environment is now facing harsh and detrimental consequences. Landfills and waters are hit the hardest by industrial pollution. Luckily there are companies and strategies one could utilize to help fight against fast fashion and stop the environment from getting worse.
