Abstract
For my Internship in Data Archiving at Loyola University Chicago for the School of Education, I finished an ongoing project in moving data that is no longer actively used to a separate storage for long-term retention. In this case I was archiving data from LiveText into a new software called DocFinity. I ensured that the data was indexed and had search capabilities, so files can be located and retrieved by future researchers who are interested in accessing these documents for study purposes. Some archive systems treat archived data as read-only to protect it from modification, while other data archiving products enable writing, as well as reading. I was able to ensure that this data is accessible for reading so that researchers can use this data for study purposes.
