Abstract

The purpose of this project was to determine if there were trends relating socioeconomic status to arrest relating to violent crimes.

We used data from the City of Chicago in our research from 2019 – present to gain a better understanding of the current trends in Chicago.

We preformed data cleaning and developed statistical models and visualizations using Python.
