Abstract

Over the Fall 2023 semester Women’s Studies and Gender Studies internship, Carly explored the ways to improve undergraduate student, graduate student, and alumni engagement with the department, and with each other. Through platforms such as LoyolaLinked and one-on-one conversations with WSGS participants, there began to be a better understanding of the connection and value the WSGS program has on Loyola’s campus. Over the semester, Carly wrote the Alumni newsletter, promoted engagement, facilitated interviews, handled social media, and led many projects in the office.
