Abstract
This presentation will focus on the importance of intergenerational community, and adjusting society's view of older adults. It will detail what the organization Edgewater Village Chicago does for local older adults, and how seniors benefit from these events and learning opportunities. My role as an intern, the values of the organization, and the long-term benefits of community building will be explored in this presentation.
