Abstract

Using data from a recent study piloting the efficacy of group IPT for College Students (IPT-CS; citation redacted), the present study examines approximately 12 hours of group therapy and their thematic content to explore the overall process and interpersonal dynamics of IPT-CS. Participants (N = 9) attended group IPT-CS over eight weeks at a mid-sized Midwestern university. Researchers will use Braun and Clarke’s (2006; 2021) approach to conduct a reflexive thematic analysis to explore college students’ mechanisms of therapeutic change and are currently finishing the first stage of coding.
