Abstract

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois has the Third largest jurisdiction in the country and one of the most robust and consequential caseloads. I had the opportunity to intern and experience this court's inner workings this fall, contributing to several different departments and acquainting myself with both the glamourous and high-profile work of the court as well as the mundane administrative tasks that make it possible for the court to function.
