Abstract
In Fall Semester 2025, I student-taught six 80-minute periods under formal observation at Loyola Academy High School. These classes included two sections of Track 3 American Literature (sophomores), one section of Honors American Literature (sophomores), and two sections of Track 6 British Literature (juniors). In Spring Semester 2026, I Student-taught the same five classes across three course levels for ~100 students. At my time at my school site, I designed lessons centered on close reading, collaborative learning, and student-led literary analysis to meet a variety of academic needs and emphasize critical thinking and student voice.
