Abstract
Graffiti is a popular stamp all over the City of Chicago. While graffiti is evenly spread over the city limits, there are prospective social indicators that might signify a higher presence of the artwork. Through data modeling techniques, one can compare the social demographics of median income, highest occurring age range, and population density with the location of graffiti throughout the various zip codes. By conducting a cluster analysis to discover the demographics that correlate the highest to occurrences of graffiti, prescriptive analytics can be used to aid the City of Chicago with identifying neighborhoods with possible gang presence.
