Abstract
The Center for Urban Research and Learning (CURL) in partnership with the Circuit Court of Cook County Domestic Violence Division have examined the Family Court Enhancement Project (FCEP), a series of federally funded initiatives implemented at the domestic violence court to improve safety outcomes for order of protection litigants who share children while increasing a sense of procedural justice in a high volume urban domestic violence court division primarily serving litigants from communities of color.
