Abstract
In this presentation, I will briefly outline my time as an intern with the 49th Ward office of Alderwoman Maria Hadden. This will include an overview of Ald. Hadden herself as well as what makes her staff so successful and efficient in resolving various issues across the ward. I will then highlight some of the more common constituent issues and concerns that come through the office. Ultimately, my largest takeaway from working with 49th Ward staff was that their excellent expertise and teamwork are was makes them excellent representatives for our neighborhood.
