Abstract
An overview of my experiences as a Community Day Services intern at Misericordia. Through my role, I am involved in working with residents with a range of developmental disabilities to grow their relations to the community through volunteering and participation in community-based resources. In this presentation, I describe my motivations for becoming a social justice intern, my learning objectives, and a reflection of the skills and knowledge I have gained through this opportunity.
