Abstract
Non-Overlapping Magisteria is a concept coined by Stephen J. Gould that models how scientific claims and religious claims are separated. The model was made to show how science and religion can exist separately and how following the model should reduce conflict between the two. Similar concepts can be found in the Constitution and judicial rulings. When looking to apply NOMA to the real world case law and legislation may be the best way to go about application.
