Abstract

The consensus around vaccines for most people is that they are safe and are used to fight back against diseases. A movement of anti-vaccination challenges the scientific consensus based on values and “news” they hear that warrant the denial of vaccines. A time of media plays a role in spreading ideals and information to people about what is currently going on around them. Misinformation is easily spread around because of how the media can manipulate and portray information to fit their narrative. This study will address the “fake news” and misinformation that motivates the denial of vaccines.
