Abstract

The presentation will overview the process and design taken to convert a rowing machine into an electric generator. The machine utilizes a charge stabilizer, battery, and current inverter to convert the users mechanical work into usable alternating current. The modified rower serves as an interactive symbol meant to demonstrate the energy that goes into everyday household objects. The presentation will also touch on the insignificance of the users input compared to the output needed for common items.
