Abstract

We aimed to create syndicated research deliverables for a Chicago based client’s business portfolio to help support their mix of industry verticals and brands. We studied consumer behavior and trends regarding the travel and hospitality industry. Our goal was to answer the business issue question, “What are the most important factors consumers consider when traveling?" Our research objectives focused on an array of subjects regarding this industry sector that we aimed to study and obtain trustworthy outcomes and results through qualitative and quantitative research. Our definition of research ready is showing up to class, contributing ideas, taking time outside of class when needed to, arriving prepared to class, and having an open mind.
